Michelle A. Ortega, MS, CCC-SLP, founder and President of Communicare Ltd., Inc. has been a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist since 1993. She has treated children and adults in a variety of service delivery models, including inpatient head injury rehabilitation, Early Intervention and in the public school setting (Preschool Disabilities/Autism and school-age inclusion).
Communicare Ltd., Inc. has been Michelle’s base of operations since 1994. At this clinic, Michelle evaluates and provides 1:1 therapy for developmental and rehabilitative feeding and communication disorders.
As a result of long-standing professional relationships and transdisciplinary continuing education, Michelle has acquired a unique, holistic approach to support her patients skill acquisition and recovery. She combines the knowledge of early developmental processes with innovative treatment strategies to support functional outcomes of patient growth, regardless of current age, functional level or given diagnoses.
